Course Description
Eighth Grade Social Studies includes the study of American History from exploration through the Civil War and Reconstruction. The heritage of America is studied through a variety of viewpoints from various ethnic and cultural groups.
The Course is taught using in and out of class activities, collaborative group work, and differentiated strategies. Modern technology is implemented and also encouraged within the curriculum.
